How Fiber Clay Planter Pots Are Handmade: From Raw Materials to Final Packing。
Every high-quality fiber clay planter begins with skilled craftsmanship and careful control at each production stage. This video follows the complete handmade journey—from raw material preparation to final inspection and export packaging.
The process starts with workers measuring and arranging the correct proportion of raw materials according to the production formula. The materials are then thoroughly mixed to create a consistent fiber clay mixture.
Experienced workers apply and shape the material by hand inside the mould. Manual forming allows them to control the thickness, shape and details of each planter throughout production.
Fiberglass sheets are carefully applied by hand to reinforce the planter structure. Workers ensure that the sheets are evenly positioned and properly bonded with the fiber clay material. This step improves strength while helping the finished planter remain lighter than a traditional solid cement pot.
After forming and curing, every planter is manually sanded to create an even surface. Small imperfections are identified and repaired before painting.
The finishing process includes several controlled stages. A primer is first sprayed to seal and prepare the surface. The base colour and decorative finish are then applied, followed by a protective coating. Each layer is checked for consistent colour, texture and coverage.
Before shipment, our quality-control team inspects every planter individually, checking its shape, dimensions, surface finish, colour and overall condition.
Approved planters are protected with suitable wrapping, paperboard and secure strapping. Careful packaging helps reduce movement and possible damage during container loading and international transportation.
From material preparation to final packing, every stage is completed and controlled by skilled workers. This process enables us to produce durable, lightweight and visually distinctive fiber clay planter pots for garden centres, importers, landscape projects, hotels and outdoor living retailers.
